Maria Bianca Amadeo is a postdoctoral researcher in the Unit for Visually Impaired People (U-VIP) directed by Dr. Monica Gori at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genova. She received her PhD in Bioengineering and Robotics at the Università degli Studi di Genova in 2020. During her PhD she mainly investigated the neural mechanisms of space and time representations in people with and without sensory disabilities. Her main research interests include multisensory perception, space and time perception, and the applicability of these research themes in clinical and rehabilitative settings. Beyond her research activity, Maria Bianca Amadeo is a licensed clinical psychotherapist.
